The Fritz Zedler Home
We invite you to be our guest at the historic Zedler Guest House. This historic home was originally built in 1900 by Fritz Zedler, who came to Texas in 1852. Zedler began operation of the Zedler Mill in 1884 which soon became a thriving business. The home, built from Zedler's own plans, testifies to his pride and prosperity. This historic home was recorded as a Texas Historic Landmark in 1974.
The Zedler Guest House is available for your next getaway, special event, girls' weekend, or business trip. There are several spacious rooms to choose from or you may rent the whole house. The Grand Room may be rented separately for special events. The home offers a continental breakfast (for whole house rental), wireless internet throughout, kitchen, a beautiful view of the Zedler Mill complex, and is just a short walk away from the San Marcos River,
