The Water Department flushes fire hydrants on a monthly basis to maintain the clearance of water lines. This allows any build up of dirt or rocks in the main water lines to be flushed out.

The Utility clerk may be able to give you information of a water leak being worked on in your area that may be causing you to have low water pressure, or will be able to dispatch the Water Department to your residence to locate a different problem.
