The City of Luling will be contracting with a third-party company for water meter upgrades. There are no expenses to the property owner for the new meter and radio transceiver installed, however installation of customer cut-off valves will be performed if the property doesn't already have a functioning valve installed, that is located outside of the city's water meter box. The property owner will be charged for the materials used for the complete customer cut-off valve installation. Please take this time now to have your own customer cut-off valve installed and placed in its own accessible meter box, outside of the city's meter box, to avoid the expense charged by the city.
