Notice to Qualified Contractors:
The City of Luling (“City”) requests sealed bids for the following project:
The City of Luling Industrial Park Boulevard Improvements (“Project”)
The Project improvements include construction of concrete roadway surface, water line and broadband conduit installation.
Bids shall be received no later than 10:00 A.M. (CST), Thursday, September 7, 2023 at:

Bids shall be delivered in sealed envelopes, addressed to the City Secretary’s Office, City of Luling, 509 E. Crockett, Luling, Texas 78648, and the outside of the sealed enveloped must be clearly marked: “THE CITY OF LULING INDUSTRIAL PARK BOULEVARD IMPROVEMENTS BID”. All bids must be made on the forms provided and included in the Bid Documents. The Bidder’s name and address must also be plainly marked on the outside of the sealed envelope.
Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud at 10:05 A.M. (CST), Thursday, September 7, 2023 at:

A MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE will be held at the Luling City Council Chambers located at 509 E. Crockett, at 10:00 A.M. (CST) on September 5, 2023. All bidders must be represented at the pre-bid conference in order to be eligible for bid consideration. The project site will be available for inspection by prospective bidders immediately following the mandatory pre‐bid conference.

The City of Luling reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to award a contract or contracts which, in the opinion of the City, appear to be in its best interest. A minor informality is one that does not affect the competitiveness of the bid. The City reserves the right to hold any or all bids for the period of time from the opening of bids to the award of the bid.
