Luling Animal Welfare Society (LAWS)
The Luling Animal Welfare Society (LAWS) is a 501(C)3, Non-Profit Corporation formed to work with the City of Luling Animal Control to benefit lost, seized and abandoned animals within the City of Luling. We conduct active adoption programs and have successfully placed hundreds of Dogs and Cats that would otherwise have been euthanized. LAWS also raised significant funding to build the current Animal Shelter located behind the Police Department.
Feel free to come by and see our animal friends in need of a good home, our animal shelter is located:

Join LAWS and become a Volunteer!
LAWS operates solely on the generous donations of our members and donors; and thanks to the hard work of many volunteers. We have no paid employees and virtually all of our funds go toward veterinary care for our dogs and cats. In order to keep fees low to encourage adoption, we actually lose money on every dog and cat, so your donations are essential to our success. We always need volunteers to work at the new shelter and at adoption events.
To join LAWS, just mail your check for $25 or more, along with your contact information and your e-mail address to:
