Public Workstations
The library has 9 computer workstations available for public use. The availability is managed by a reservations system. The duration of the time spent on the computer is a minimum of 1 hour, but can be more depending on demand of the work stations.

Internet Terms and Conditions of Use
- No food or drinks are allowed at computer work stations.
- Computers are not to be used for social media or chat rooms. Streaming Video is also not permitted.
- Patrons may not make any attempt to damage computer equipment or software, which include changing settings, adding icons, saving favorites, etc.
- Patrons may bring their own CD/DVDs or USB drives to use at computer workstations, but the library is not responsible for damage to a patron's media, or for any loss of data, damage, or liability that may occur from patron use of the library's computers.
- Patrons printing to library printers are responsible for any printing fees. Please ask the Librarians for assistance with your printed documents.
- Youth under the age of 18 without a Texas Driver’s License or Texas Identification Card must have signed parental permission to use the unfiltered internet. Permission forms can be found
- Children between the ages of 7-10 years old must be accompanied by an adult during time of use.
- Library staff reserves the right to limit internet use to any adult whose children are inadequately supervised.
- Sexually explicit conversations/sites are inappropriate and is a violation of privileges. If someone is found on such sites, session will be terminated and future access will be denied.
Wireless Access
Wireless connectivity is available at J.B. Nickels Memorial Library at no charge. However, library staff is not authorized or trained to configure personal computers for patrons.
Currently, we do not have printing available for computers using the wireless network.
